The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Collaborates With FTX To Launch NFTs

The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team has partnered with FTX to launch its first in the series of NFT drops. The launch has taken fans much closer to their favorite team by buying a digital artwork of their choice. Interested fans can sign up on FTX to claim a piece of NFT.

Fans can get their hands on the artistic interpretation of the ticket through the Race Collection, a limited drop of NFT Ticket Stubs. Almost every race is expected to have 2500 numbered Ticket Stubs, and only five races will have 1000 rare NFTs created in collaboration with different artists.

An artistic interpretation is expected to have a higher acceptance among the community. Artworks carry various interpretations. With a good artist on the list, the fans’ thoughts can be unified to deliver those artworks that everyone would fall in love with.

Superfans, there are many, have a deeper relationship with these collectibles. The good news is that if they succeed in getting an NFT, they will get access to the future utility of that NFT.

Free registration on FTX will allow fans to get an NFT Ticket Stub with an option to randomly choose the race every Friday or mint one of the previous race ticket stubs. The Ticket Stub Collection can be traded or collected, and it can even be built by fans by unlocking the potential of their creative imagination.

Eleven digital artworks featuring Mercedes-AMG Petronas cars have been launched in collaboration with Mad Dog Jones, a multi-disciplinary artist responsible for their designs and creations. Out of those 11 digital artworks, three have already been auctioned and sold, with the prices available for review on the FTX platform.

Proceedings generated by the sale of these three NFTs have been directed to Ignite, a charitable trust established and run with the joint efforts of Mercedes-AMG Petronas and Mission44. Ignite looks to support the diversity and inclusion of all in motorsport.

FTX is the official partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team. It will list all the NFTs on its official website, and the availability will be for both – primary and secondary markets.

NFTs can be transferred from the FTX US account to the FTX International account by withdrawing NFTs to another wallet and then selecting Withdraw. Once done, enter the Solana address where the NFT should be transferred.

Fans are required to register on the official web platform of FTX before participating in the NFT sale process. Fill up the registration form by completing the KYC portion and deposit funds via Debit or Credit card. Funds can also be deposited through a bank or wire transfer.

NFTs purchased or acquired will appear in the digital wallet that one can view by visiting the wallet section on the FTX website. This is a developing story with more details awaited.
